Popular and unique legal drama “Suits” has had a recent resurgence with it’s release on Netflix which has now been given the green light to provide an official pilot and it’s called “Suits: LA”.
The new lead character is Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who ‘has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles’. But does he have a photographic memory and where is Donna? These are the things that made Suits great in the beginning.
I mean who can forget that iconic first meeting between Mike and Harvey!
Toms firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.
Of course the ensemble cast is there as Ted is surrounded by a group of characters who test their loyalties to both him and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.
Filming of the new series begins in late March in Vancouver.
There is some great news as well that Aaron Korsh, the creator of the original “Suits,” is writing the pilot so expect plenty of that quick wit and fun.
Surprisingly the original “Suits” finished 2023 as the most-streamed program with an unbelievable 57.7 billion minutes viewed. Not bad for a show that was cancelled in 2019.
