Police investigate utility theft

John deere

Over the Easter weekend, three John Deere Gator Utility Vehicles were stolen from Midland Tractors at Montrose. Tasmania Police says the total value of the stolen vehicles is in excess of $50,000.

The Glenorchy Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the theft of the vehicles and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious around 3am on Friday April 19, in the area of Midland Tractors at Montrose and along the Intercity Cycleway in the Montrose/Glenorchy area.

Police say it is possible that these vehicles will be offered for sale or someone may have seen them since the time they were stolen.

Anyone with information in relation to the theft, or the current location of the vehicles, is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
