Where to vote in Tasmania tomorrow

Australia Votes 2022

Saturday, May 21 marks the day where Australians take to the polls to determine their next federal government.

Those aged over 18 on the electoral roll must vote or risk a fine.

The closest polling place to you can be found on the Australian Electoral Commission's website.

Search on this website for the all important "democracy sausage" and cake sale if you're feeling peckish before you head out to have your say.

Interstate voters in Tasmania have access to the following polling places to cast their vote: Blundstone Arena in Bellerive, Burnie Arts and Function Centre, Paranaple Centre in Devonport, Hobart City Hall, and 59 Bathurst Street Launceston.

Masks aren't compulsory to vote, but are encouraged especially when it is hard to socially distance.

Those who are currently in isolation with covid-19 are able to vote via a secure telephone line.
