A deliberately lit fire which destroyed a house at Claremont on Monday 6th May is under investigation by Tasmania police.
Emergency services responded to reports of a house on fire on Cadbury Road at around 8:40pm, arriving to find the fire had fully engulfed the house.
A fire scene examination has been undertaken, with the fire believed to have been deliberately lit.

Anyone with information in relation to the fire, or suspicious activity in the area around the time is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
