Tasmanians will have the chance to have a look at plans for the state’s next multi-day iconic walk at information sessions around the state in coming weeks.
The proposed walk will be a three-day, two night walk on the West Coast between lake Plimsoll and the Lake Margaret Power Station, encompassing the unique environment and rich history and heritage of the West Coast.
Information sessions will be held in Hobart and Launceston, as well as at the Queenstown Library next Tuesday and the Ulverstone Fire Station on Wednesday with afternoon and evening sessions at both locations.
Members of the public will be invited to view the designs and talk with members of the peoject team.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment says the initial concept plans have been developed following extensive feedback from local business, Local Government and industry stakeholders.
