Items of interest found in an intensive search for Shyanne-Lee Tatnell in Launceston are yet to be confirmed as connected to the missing teenager.
It is 11 days since the 14 year old from Burnie, who had been staying in Launceston, has been accounted for, with her last known movement in the Henry Street area on the night of Sunday April 30th.
Shyanne-Lee is thought to have set out on foot to Ravenswood to catch up with a friend, but never arrived.
The community has been engaged in the search, with police having concentrated their efforts on the nearby area of the North Esk River.
Inspector Craig Fox is appealing for any information from the public.
“We have thrown a lot of resources at this as we should and until we’re satisfied that we have exhausted all those possible avenues, then we’ll continue to search.”
