Reports of late night dangerous driving at New Norfolk on Wednesday has led to 23 year old Richmond man Charles (Charlie) Read, the son of the late Chopper, being on a raft of serious charges.
Police road spiked the car he is claimed to have been driving at Bridgewater, then found it abandoned at Pontville Cemetery where they found the man nearby.
From there police allegedly found drugs thought to be ‘ice’ as well as guns and ammunition.

Read has been denied bail in Hobart.
His famous criminal dad, Chopper, who lived in Tasmania for a while, died in 2013.
