Capture the Catchments Photo Competition
Cradle Coast NRM’s Strahan based Healthy Harbour Project is running a photo competition titled ‘Capture the Catchments’.
Macquarie Harbour, one of Australia’s largest and most unique harbours, is fed by two river systems – the Henty-King, and the Franklin-Gordon. The competition encourages people to explore these catchments and share their experiences through photography.
There’s five categories:
Junior (under 16s)
Wildlife
Plants and Fungi
Landscapes
Water
The competition is open to everyone, no photography expertise is needed. Entries are limited to one entry per category per person.
We will create a gallery in Strahan that showcases all entries, which will be on public display over the summer. While we encourage people to submit print photographs, we also welcome digital entries, which will be printed for the exhibition.
To enter, please visit our website at cradlecoast.com and search ‘capture the catchments’ or drop into the Healthy Harbour Project Office, located in the Union Steamship Building on the Strahan esplanade.
