Bitlink Bytes free school holiday activity in Queenstown

Bitlink is on the road and bringing our Bitlink Bytes school holiday programmes to a town near you!

We’re pleased to announce that Bitlink was the recipient of a community STEM engagement grant provided by the federal government. This means that starting in the April 2025 Easter Holidays, we will be offering free technology workshops to young people across Tasmania!

We are partnering with Libraries Tasmania to deliver this program and will get to visit regional libraries in every corner of the state. The workshops are designed to give young people a taste of technology skills. Working with our project partners, we’re offering a range of activities, including coding, electronics, game design and content creation. Participants will get to explore these topics, but also leave with something that they can continue working on using accessible web-based tools to keep developing their skills.

On Monday April 13, we will be running two sessions at Queenstown Library, 10-12, and 1 -3.

For more information about the activities we will be running, and to reserve your spot, visit:

We’d love to see you there!
