Fitzy and Wippa Slider

The nice-guys of Sydney radio Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli are the duo that wake you with a laugh – at their own expense. Their remarkable chemistry creates regular moments that make listeners smile, giggle or just plain LOL. No matter what the topic our boys will have their own unique take on it.

The down-to-earth duo regularly hit the sweet spot with local and international celebrities approaching interviews with fun in mind – take Wippa singing a duet with Hugh Jackman for example. Proud to be a part of Sydney daily, the boys take pride in raising money each year for charity as ambassadors for City2Surf.

Fitzy is Nova 96.9’s very own ex reality TV contestant and AFL star. Spending over two months in the Big Brother house, Fitzy went on to other non-Logie TV roles including host of Big Brother Friday Night Live and was part of the popular AFL program Before The Game. Fitzy is also a regular contributor to Network Ten’s The Project. Married to wife BJ and two young sons by his side, Fitzy has become one of the new generation of multi-media personalities.

Wippa first joined Nova as part of the national drive show before joining Fitzy after three years in Sydney for the prime-time job of Sydney breakfast. Never afraid to ‘have a go’, Wippa has pulled a plane, been suspended from a hot air balloon and been naked in the studio more times than we care to remember. He is married to Lisa and has two young sons Ted & Jack.
