Katy Perry splits from Russell Brand... on Twitter

Forget the breakup or the impending divorce, you know the relationship is really over now.

Katy Perry has 'unfollowed' ex-hubby Russell Brand on Twitter. Which, in a world so obsessed with celebrities and social media, is about as big a statement as she could possibly have made.

The pop superstar is seemingly doing her best to put her relationship with the British funny-man behind her, also returning to the road to wrap up her California Dreams tour. She was snapped kissing a male fan (on the cheek!) at one of her shows in Indonesia, just last week.

So what about Brand? Well, a look through his Twitter account shows that Katy is still indeed someone he follows, although he hasn't updated anything since January 5. Probably won't be too much longer before the feeling, or rather, unfollowing, is mutual.
