| Speeding P-Platers Disappoint |
|
Police are disappointed their message isn't getting through to new drivers - after two P-platers were caught doing well over the limit in the state's south. One of the teens was caught doing 126 in a 100 zone on the Southern Outlet at Kingston overnight. Moments later on the same road - another driver who'd had his P's for only six days was clocked doing 130 kilometres an hour with four passengers inside. The first motorists got off with an infringement notice, while the car of the second driver was clamped for 28 days. Police are again highlighting the dangers of travelling at such excessive speeds -especially for inexperienced drivers. |
