

| Senior Carers Gain Support |
|
A new support program for Grandparents who've been given the responsibility of caring for grandchildren is set to provide financial help and access to services. The Tasmanian Government has teamed up with UnitingCare to re-launch the initiative after Federal funding was axed in 2010. UnitingCare CEO Lindy O'Neill says there are many reasons why seniors suddenly find themselves sole guardians for the next generation.
