The Tasmanian Government hopes to one day have an asbestos free state, but in the meantime they've released an information pack to help ensure tradies aren't exposed to the potentially deadly material. The pocket guide details how workers can stay safe and informed about asbestos hazards. Workplace Relations Minister David O'Byrne says prevention is better than cure, and education and awareness is a crucial part of the government's approach to tackling asbestos problems.
