

| More action against Gunns |

A group of anti pulp mill activists is spending thousands on newspaper ads today...to warn the ANZ bank not to extend a financial lifeline to timber company Gunns. The No Pulp Mill Alliance is demanding the ANZ call in Gunns debts of more than 300 million dollars by the January 31 deadline...rather than allow them to refinance. Spokesperson Lucy Landon Lane won't reveal what sort of 'direct action' they could take if the bank doesn't comply:
